Air Hogs Sharp Shooter Red I bought this one to my son on his 4th birthday.

Helicopter is absolutely great – easy to control, durable and loads of fun. The only problem is short battery life – but that’s expected.

Some advise for new users:
1. Do not start on maximum thrust. It is a great toy to teach a child to manage the pressure they apply to a toy. If the thrust is pushed to max then all the copter will do is throw itself into random direction – wall, ceiling – it doesn’t have any preferences.
2. Do not start it from floor. I usually hold it with two fingers until my son spins the rotor and then I let it go. If you try to start it from floor it will loose balance.

Air Hogs Sharp Shooter Blue For an old kid (I am 42) this is a pretty fun RC helicopter. I fly it around my office area with some success. I would not necessarily recommend it for younger children as they may not have the patience to master it and will be disappointed by the short flying time.

Here are my main points about this product:

1. It takes a bit of practice and a light touch to get it to fly smoothly. Even then there is a bit of random variation. I would not expect to be able to maneuver it with a great deal of precision.

2. The trim also needs to be adjusted, which can only be done after you are able to get it to hover successfully.

3. The one I received seems pretty durable. On my first flight I got it stuck in the tile ceiling of my office. It fell to the floor and was ready for more. Nonetheless, I can see that one should be careful when handling it, but it seems to take the abuse of crashes pretty well.

4. As far as I can tell it is not “radio” controlled in that it appears to use infrared LEDs for control. This means
that you need to keep it within line of sight to keep it in control. Otherwise, bad things can happen (i.e. crash).

5. The missiles are slow to react, and the do unbalance it, but they are fun anyway.

6. The battery will not last for too long before it needs to be recharged. This is due to the fact that it needs to be very light in order for the motor to be able to create the lift required for it to fly. But it is fun while it lasts, and then it takes a bit of time to get it recharged. I would definitely get some rechargeable batteries for the controller.

7. Be realistic about your expectations for the price you are paying. “Real” RC helicopters are very expensive, and this thing by comparison is dirt cheap. I was amazed for the price that it flew at all!

The launcher propels Nano cars at high speeds, allowing them to defy gravity and climb up walls.

Driving Up the Wall
With a sleek, lightweight design and orange-and-yellow detailing, the Nano climbs walls and even drives upside down. The controller/charger features a steering wheel, forward and reverse throttle, trim adjuster to optimize steering, and storage/charging compartment.

Before taking the Nano for a test drive, an adult should help install the controller/charger’s six “AA” batteries (not included). The Nano itself comes equipped with a rechargeable battery, and the car’s working headlights will flash when battery power is low.

To recharge, simply park the Nano inside the controller/charger. A flashing red light indicates the battery is charging, and in approximately one-half hour, the car will be ready to race.

Smooth Surface for Best Performance
Like any race car, the Nano must be operated in a suitable environment. Large, empty indoor spaces are best, and in order for the Nano to cling, all floors and walls must be clean and smooth. Left and right buttons on the controller allow you to adjust the trim and make the car drive straight.

On a smooth surface, the Nano has impressive scale-speed performance, reaching a speed of eight inches-per-second on the floor, and five inches-per-second on the wall or ceiling. Pushing the forward throttle to achieve maximum speed, then quickly turning the steering wheel, causes the Nano to spin.

A switch on the back of the Nano activates the Venturi fan, giving the Nano its suction power — allowing it to cling to walls and ceilings.

Race Your Friends
This green-and-black Nano is one of a series of lightweight Zero Gravity cars. Different models of Nano cars (sold separately) are wired to different frequencies, allowing multiple cars to race simultaneously.

Yes that’s Air Hogs Havoc Heli 10th Anniversary Edition is plastic. All you have to do is trim the havoc heli which took awhile, you have to press L till the turning stops same thing with R.After that you can easily fly the plane.You probably want to put on the aluminum stickers on for a different proformance,mine started crashing right away.So if you have to by a present this is great for someone who has flown a couple of air hogs planes!
