This Kaitlin doll is lovely, a nice big size and comes with another outfit and diary. She seems well-made so far, and my daughter, who is almost 4, was THRILLED with her. However, you have to pay close attention to what you are actually getting from this line: The product shots of the dolls seem to show lovely “real” eyelashes on their eyes, but in fact they have painted on eyelashes, giving them a bit more bug-eyed look than in their pictures. The Calista doll is shown in her original outfit (on the package itself – Amazon is actually showing what she comes with accurately) to be wearing leg-warmers and a scarf, but those DO NOT come with the doll. Likewise, many of the extra outfits you can buy separately are pictured right on the packages at much higher-quality with lots of details like houndstooth patterns, beading, and buttons, that if you compare to the clothing actually included in the package, are NOT on the items. It’s a little sketchy that this company likes to Photoshop or enhance their products right on the package when the lower-quality, less-detailed stuff they are actually selling is right there for comparison! Don’t go by the photos: be sure and compare in person before you buy!
