Hasbro Candy Land Castle Game Our daughter received this game on her first birthday. It is recommended for ages three and up, but her grandmother had heard it was almost too little by then. However, one was too little to start playing – the pieces are much too small for a child that age. But, we pulled the game out at about 17 months, and have played with it ever since. My daughter loves to get it out, and begin matching the pieces. It has been great for working on her shapes and colors. She truly has learned her colors from this game. It is also a great way to practice taking turns. My daughter loves to have people play this with her, but she’s also content to play it on her own, and match up every last shape and color. It has been a great game!
