Reinhards Staupe’s Blink Card Game I first picked up this game on a whim from a mass merchandiser to have a quick game for my speech therapy kids to play after our therapy sessions. It IS quick – you can play it in about 2 minutes. It’s fast like War and played like War, except you match either top card on two piles on the table by color, shape, or number of shapes. You can hold three cards in your hand at one time and keep replenishing your hand when you put cards down. I like it because I believe games such as these sharpen your brain to process what you see more quickly and to train it to multi-task – you have to remember the three ways to match and remember to keep picking cards up so you have three in your hand at all times. It’s a challenge for some of my slower-processing kids, but I have seen them get faster at this week by week! And they love, love, LOVE this game!
