Barbie Fashionistas Glam Doll This doll is like the Cutie fashionista in that her legs are not quite as flexible as the Girly doll, but more sturdy. I love her accesories- the beautiful clutch purse, the faux fur cuffs, necklace and earrings. Her hair, like most Barbies nowadays, looks like it needs a good washing, but a brushing-out helps. Her dress is very pretty, but ‘bedazzled’ as some would say. Still, like most fashionistas, you can buy it for less than at other stores.

Barbie Mariposa Magic Wings Mariposa Doll My 4-year-old daughter received this doll for Christmas, and we were all fascinated by how beautiful and majestic it was with the wings on. When she’s played with it in public places, she attracted lots of new friends who want to see the doll. Even now, a month later, it’s one of her favorite dolls to play with. She has never been able to put the wings on by herself because the plastic coupling is complicated for a 4-year-old, but I’ve been able to snap them on pretty easily, and my 9-year-old niece has also figured it out after some practice. The wings seem surprisingly durable, even after accidentally bending the opposite direction they were meant to when stuffed in her backpack. The plastic coupling where wings connect to doll has been surprisingly strong too. The way the wings act is an awkward design feature – the wings fold in a couple of places and snap together so they are about half-size, and there is a button on the back of the doll that releases the wings so they open to full size, but only if the doll’s arms are out of the way – best if arms are extended straight above her head. These days my daughter prefers to leave the wings off because they get in the way of the doll’s ability to sit in barbie cars, but no other barbie is as unique as this doll, so it’s still my daughter’s favorite.

Barbie Trunk I actually chose to buy this at Walmart because it was priced about cheaper. My daughter just turned 4 and got a ton of Barbies so I figured I would try these out. We already have one of those collapsible Barbie holders and it is a total piece of junk so we needed to try something new. This is very cute and I have seen no problems with the plastic being weak. It holds 8 Barbies although it is a tight fit and the 3 compartments hold quite a few dresses, shoes, and brushes. It is difficult to open and close so my daughter brings it to me to do those for her which is the reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. Overall, it does it’s job for the price.

Barbie Store It All! Doll & Accessory Rolling Bin (NEW) First of all, just let me say I can’t believe this is selling for about sixty dollars here on Amazon! I purchased mine at a local Target for about 25 dollars. There were only two left, and I made sure to snag the one without the scratches. ~he he he~ It’s pretty sturdy. Although there are storage compartments for the accessories, I find they aren’t big enough to accomodate all of them (hence the four stars). Over all, I’m pretty pleased with my purchase. Now, if only I can get my daughter to remember to put the Barbies “in” the bin and not stack them on “top” of it! *siiigh*

Barbie Pink Ballerina Doll I bought this doll for my 3 year old daughter. My first Barbie was a Ballerina Barbie, too! I was slightly dismayed to find that the outfit (with the exception of the skirt) is molded on. However, for a 3 year old, who’s hands aren’t quite adept enough to clothe regular Barbies, this is a GREAT aspect for a toy. Of the five Barbies she has gotten since, only Ballerina remains clothed and is played with far more frequently than those who need an older sibling or mom to get them dressed! In hindsight, this is the PERFECT first Barbie for a preschooler and a worthwhile purchase.

Barbie Fab Girl Doll Compared to some Barbies I have purchased this one is much higher quality. Granddaughter loves it and has been playing with it and the accessories non-stop for days now.

I personally found the packaging to be frustrating. Every last little item strapped down with elastic or tape so everything was picture perfect in the box.

This Barbie has a “grow hair” feature that has take a while for my 5 year old granddaughter to figure out. At first she wanted to cut the strings so she could brush the hair but she seems to have figured it out.
