What is so great about this purchase was that I was able to JUST buy the bell. In retail stores you typically have to buy a package which includes other accessories like a bike helmet and/or knee pads which my daughter already had.

Kryptonite Kryptoflex 1218 Combo Cable Bicycle Lock (1/2-Inch x 6-Foot) I purchased both the 1018 and 1218 models (please note Amazon seems to apply reviews to both locks). They’re both good value. One is 3/8″ diameter steel rope designed to be carried coiled around the seat tube. The other is 1/2″ diameter and comes with a carrier and velcro strap. (Personally, I would carry it around the seat tube too.).

Kryptonite Keeper 12 Standard Bicycle U-Lock with Bracket Bicycle U-Lock (4-Inch x 8-Inch) the lock is not super wide so it is a little hard to get it around the front wheel, the frame, and a pole ….. but I can and I do. The lock mechanism gets a little stuck sometimes, which is annoying. Still best deal around on a brand new U lock. (It was around or when I bought it )
