The best part is that even if you start memorizing the answers through the repetition and repeated play, Scene it? releases update packs to add more questions and movie clips. Just in case people are weary of my 3 star enucational value rating that is only because the only thing you are learning is the most fun kind of konwledge: useless knowledge.

Da Vinci Bang, 4th Edition This game is really simple to learn to play and doesn’t require much thought during play. Games can always be pretty quick compared to games with more elaborate board setups like Settlers of Catan. The fun is in the subterfuge in trying to figure out who’s on your team and who’s trying to kill you off while everyone is scheming to win. And of course… there’s something to be said for juvenile humor as players try to “Bang!” each other to death. The cards all have Italian as well as English on them – I think a nod to spaghetti westerns, of which some were filmed in Italy.

Monopoly Electronic Banking Edition We bought this for our teenagers 3 months ago and they cannot stop playing it. It is the best version of Monopoly ever! I haven’t played Monopoly since I was in my 20s and though I loved the concept of the game I hated sorting and picking up all the money, set up took so long that by the time I was set to play I didn’t want to play anymore. I wanted my kids to enjoy Monopoly and I thought this was a great solution.
